Geolink Consulting has provided a team leader for a team of four (the other team members are an IT expert, mapping expert and GPS expert) to perform a monitoring exercise on behalf of the EC. The team is under the overall umbrella of the Dutch Kadaster. The objective of the monitoring missions is to assess the progress of works co-financed by European Regional Funds (ERDF) under the CSFIII for Greece, aimed at assisting the implementation of the Greek Cadastre. The monitoring takes place on a twice yearly basis to oversee the progress being made according to the project plan and budget. The main components of the project concern:

  • HEPOS - the introduction of a permanent GNSS network
  • Digitising of existing titles
  • Orthophoto production for the entire Greek teritory - with large scales data for urban areas
  • Production of data delineating the forest and shoreline
  • Development of IT capacity
