INSPIRE and Geolink Consulting Ltd
Geolink is able to provide a range of consultancy and training related to SDI and INSPIRE. This could range from a one day workshop / seminar to a full national study and report. Mark Probert, Managing Director of Geolink Consulting Ltd has been involved with the INSPIRE initiative since 1998 - before it was known as INSPIRE. While working for Ordnance Survey GB he attended a number of the early "Expert Group" meetings as GI representative for the UK. 
He was a member of the Reference Data working group and became co-author of their eventual Position Paper. Since setting up Geolink Consulting Mark has remained active within the INSPIRE community and since April 2007 has been a member of the drafting team compiling the implementing rules for monitoring and reporting.
Between 2009 and 2012 Mark Probert is working as one of several invited experts in the "State of Play" project that tracks the development of NSDIs across the countries of Europe.
